When it comes to breast cancer, timing changes everything.

Breast cancer is not one disease. It is a spectrum — from early hormone-sensitive tumors to aggressive HER2-positive and triple-negative subtypes. The difference between cure and complexity often lies in early detection, precise staging, and scientifically sequenced treatment . At Horizon Cancer Centre (HCC), we approach breast cancer with multidisciplinary precision oncology, aligned with contemporary global standards of care.

Why Breast Cancer Needs Specialised Care

Breast cancer management today is molecularly driven — not just surgically treated. Treatment decisions depend on:

Tumor biology (ER, PR, HER2 status)
    Ki-67 proliferation index
    Genomic risk profiling (where indicated)
Patient age, fertility considerations, and comorbidities
    Nodal involvement

A one-size-fits-all approach leads to overtreatment or undertreatment. We individualise therapy.

    Early Signs Women Often Ignore

Any new breast change lasting more than 2–3 weeks requires evaluation.

Advanced Diagnostics at Horizon Cancer Care

Accurate diagnosis is the foundation of cure. We ensure:

Digital mammography & targeted breast ultrasound
Breast MRI for high-risk or dense breast evaluation
    Image-guided core needle biopsy
Complete receptor testing (ER, PR, HER2)
Molecular and genetic counselling when indicated

We emphasize correct staging before initiating treatment

    FAQ’s

    • No. Many breast lumps are benign conditions such as fibroadenomas or cysts. However, any new lump, especially after age 35, should be evaluated with imaging and, if needed, a biopsy to rule out malignancy. Clinical examination alone is not sufficient.
