Gynecologic Cancer Hospital in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad

Gynecologic cancers involve the cervix, ovary, uterus (endometrium), vulva, and vagina. At HCC, we combine precise surgical staging, modern systemic therapy, molecular profiling, and multidisciplinary planning  with clarity and compassion at every step.

    Cervical Cancer

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers .

    Why it matters

    Strongly linked to HPV infection
    Detectable through screening
    Highly curable when detected early

    Treatment Options

Early stage: Radical surgery or definitive radiation
    Locally advanced: Concurrent chemoradiation (cisplatin-based)
    Recurrent/advanced: Platinum-based chemotherapy ± bevacizumab
Selected cases: Immunotherapy (PD-1 inhibitors where indicated)

    Ovarian Cancer

Ovarian cancer rarely causes clear early symptoms. Many women report only vague bloating or abdominal fullness.

    Treatment approach

    Careful staging before intervention
Primary cytoreductive surgery when complete tumor removal is feasible
Neoadjuvant chemotherapy in selected advanced cases
    Platinum-based chemotherapy backbone
    Maintenance therapy:
PARP inhibitors (for BRCA / HRD-positive disease)
    Bevacizumab in selected high-risk patients

Genetic testing (BRCA) is recommended in most epithelial ovarian cancers — it guides both treatment and family risk assessment.

    Uterine (Endometrial) Cancer

The most common early sign is postmenopausal bleeding.

    Treatment pathway

Surgery is primary treatment (hysterectomy with staging)
Adjuvant radiation or chemotherapy based on risk features
Molecular classification (MMR status, p53, POLE) increasingly guides prognosis
Immunotherapy effective in MSI-high / MMR-deficient recurrent disease

    Vulvar & Vaginal Cancers

These cancers often present with visible lesions or persistent irritation.

    Surgery is primary treatment
Radiation or chemoradiation for advanced cases
Lymph node assessment plays a key role in prognosis
    Gynecologic Cancer

    Fertility Preservation in Selected Patients

A cancer diagnosis does not automatically mean loss of fertility. In carefully selected early-stage patients we offer

Radical trachelectomy for small cervical cancers
Fertility-sparing surgery in borderline ovarian tumors
Hormonal therapy in selected low-grade early endometrial cancers

    Advanced & Recurrent Disease

When cancer returns or presents at an advanced stage, treatment becomes more complex. We plan management based on:

    Platinum sensitivity in ovarian cancer
    Immunotherapy eligibility in endometrial cancer
    Targeted therapy options
    Symptom-directed supportive care

    When Should You Seek Evaluation?

    Abnormal vaginal bleeding
    Bleeding after menopause
    Persistent bloating or abdominal swelling
    Pelvic pain
    Abnormal Pap smear
Strong family history of ovarian or breast cancer
